10 Things I Love: Video Games

Started by Haggis (Sean Loyless) · 11 months ago

I logged into my Wordpress dashboard the other day and realized I was only ten entries away from my 1,000th blog. I’ve been busy with life and haven’t had the motivation to post lately, even so much as letting the fifth anniversary of the website come and go without a ... Continue reading »

  • Wow... Brings back memories! I remember my very first console when I was 6 or 7 I think (or probably a little older) Atari... and that game, Condor Attack. I was so addicted to that game my parent's have to ban me from it LOL. Then I was given a Sega Genesis with Sonic, a present from my mom. She had to put that away too, because I'm on that thing as soon as I get home from school! Old school game titles that are coming back via download on PSN is awesome. I've already collected quite a few :). Excellent post!
  • Video game memories with Haggis:

Old school MK Best of Fives
Hating on The Hulk in Marvel Super Heroes
Button mashing my way to dominance in Tekken3
    Hunt the Wumpus--'nuff said
Halo marathons (ZOMG i swear we played for like 16 hours once)

    Good times, good times.
  • Marvel Super Heroes.. we did log quite a few hours on that game, on both mine and your PS. I still get pissed when I see Iron Man in a fighting game. It's all your fault.
  • Congratulations on approaching / reaching 10 to the third power posts. It may be an arbitrary milestone, but it's a milestone nonetheless.

Thanks for the content here, too. I haven't been reminded of Wolfenstein for a long time.
  • Hehe, no prob. Glad I could bring out some old skool video game memories. I still yell out "FRONT DOOR" or whatever the germans always yelled when they spotted you. At least I think that's what they said.
  • interactive erotic software. the wave of the future.
  • You brought me several good memories, Pac Man was my first game and Mortal Kombat was my favorite game when I was in hight school.

I think the consoles will disappear soon because I have heard it many times, it's a pity because they are my favorites but you are right, they are planned to be obsolete in 2 or 3 years and that is a big disadvantage.
