i once had a boyfriend who, when we broke up, that was his last statement to me. "so long and thanks for all the fish!" like that was his big ZING and fuck you at the end of our relationship. and i guess he thought that once he deliveded it and =click= hung up the phone (this was high school, mind you) i would sink back into my devastation and think "hell, i really screwed up now!" but, rather just thought "what a nerd" because....i like the hitchhikers guide as much as the next guy ... but that....was just dumb.
